Roseville Newborns | Baby Mateo

Not that girls aren't little darlings and fantastic to dress up, we finally have a boy in the family! Coming from an auntie (me) with four local nieces, one out of state niece, and only one nephew, also out of state and too far to track with a camera: photographing Baby Mateo was a fun new road to venture!

This little one decided to make his mark on the backdrop before we even took the first picture! After that, he was a superb little model despite all the hustle and bustle that comes with a portrait session. Thank you to the Rojas family for being patient throughout the session and wonderful models too!

But we can't leave out our big sisters :) ...

Sacramento Newborns | Baby Ava Rose

A true flower, Ava Rose... how could you not love her? I was given the opportunity to photograph this little one at two weeks for new mom, Meaghan, as a gift from her colleagues. I was even able to sneak in a few early family portraits! We took a few breaks, but after working with children for so long, I've learned that we work around their schedule, not the other way around :). This was a very quiet and intimate session with the new little family and it was such an honor.

Sacramento Engagements | Kaila & Keith

What do I say about a couple willing to laugh to just about anything I say? Kaila & Keith were troupers while we completed their engagement session in Old Sacramento. Just like every couple I've photographed, they started out nervous and unsure of what to expect, but soon became pros. As you can see, these two were all dolled up, ready for a night out in the town! I couldn't help but build a story aloud. 'Special date.. taking a stroll after dinner, absorbing the sights of Sacramento, stealing a smooch under the moon, then finally rushing home before the cool air settled in.' They were fantabulous! And I hope the photos did them justice. Enjoy!

Sacramento Newborns | Baby Eva

What can I say about the Feher's? ElleCee has photographed them several times now and they are like family. I met Loan as a bridesmaid in Karisa & Anthony's wedding back in 2011. She was expecting then for little Elliott to pop out. What a little munchkin he turned out to be! Fast forward a couple of years and we meet up again for Nancy & Juan's wedding where she was expecting another! I am so happy to now present lil' miss Eva. 

I got the opportunity to photograph this pink tutu toting gal just around 2 weeks. She was such a sport! At the start, it was a bit too cool despite the soft fabric atop a beanbag her brother was just nestling in. Eventually, she made her way to comfortville and settled in to nap the rest of the way. We were able to snap a few of just Eva. Then we made our way to our kitchen-esque theme with little Elliott and of course, a few family sittings. What we love? Aside from the colors and patterns.. these beautiful little faces, of course!
