Roseville Newborns | Baby Mateo

Not that girls aren't little darlings and fantastic to dress up, we finally have a boy in the family! Coming from an auntie (me) with four local nieces, one out of state niece, and only one nephew, also out of state and too far to track with a camera: photographing Baby Mateo was a fun new road to venture!

This little one decided to make his mark on the backdrop before we even took the first picture! After that, he was a superb little model despite all the hustle and bustle that comes with a portrait session. Thank you to the Rojas family for being patient throughout the session and wonderful models too!

But we can't leave out our big sisters :) ...

Sacramento Wedding Photographer - La Provence, Roseville - Karisa & Anthony

Who knew a trip to sign up at our local 24 hour fitness would lead to us meeting one of the greatest couples!  We were told by our gym membership specialist that his co-worker was getting married soon and they were looking for a photographer.  We heard from Karisa almost immediately and sat down with her to discuss her Wedding.  She and Anthony had met at the gym after he had spied her working out.  There was definitely a mutual crush going on between them, but it took another few months of failed attempts to hang out for Karisa to take matters into her own hands and ask Anthony out on a date.  They have been inseparable ever since!
After Anthony proposed to Karisa at the top of Coit Tower in San Francisco, Karisa dove headfirst into Wedding planning and put their love and personality into every detail.  She turned into the ultimate crafter and even got Anthony in on some of action!  Together, they planned the most amazing day to share with their closest friends and family.  From their sweet first look, to their emotional ceremony (ElleCee even got choked up with emotion!) to dancing the night away while their guests dug into an awesome create-your-own frozen yogurt bar, they thought of everything!

We feel so lucky to have gotten to know these two, both as clients and as friends.  We photographed their engagement session almost exactly one year before their wedding day and because we worked out at the same gym we got to know them even better!  Nothing like doing hip-hop dance workouts with your bride before her big day, right??
